Sir David lends support

NFU leader Sir David Naish has given his support to farmers weeklys "Stamp Out Scab" campaign.

"MAFF would assist the sheep industry greatly if it insisted on the compulsory control of scab in affected flocks," said Sir Davids letter.

Widespread support has also flooded in from auctioneers throughout the country. More than 35 markets have pledged their support.

Cross-Party backing for the campaign has come from MPs including Robin Corbett (Lab), Martyn Jones (Lab), Dennis Skinner (Lab), Cynog Dafis (Plaid Cymru) and Ann Winterton (Con). Please register your support using the coupon. &#42
