Six die this year from nvCJD
SIX people have died this year from new-variant Creutzfeldt Jakob disease (nvCJD) derived from contact with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), according to the department of health.
In total, 46 have died from the disease since it was identified in 1995.
