SLF gets land reform assurances
REPRESENTATIVES from the Scottish Landowners Federation have received assurances from the Scottish Executive about the effects of its land reform proposals.
They were concerned that the proposals to give the right of access and the community right-to-buy would be pushed through without consultation.
Justice minister Jim Wallace assured them there was still much detail to discuss on which they would be consulted.
SLF director Maurice Hankey said his organisations members still had grave concerns about the community right-to-buy legislation.
