The critical thing is getting the crop established and away. Another week to 10 days and its probably better to wait and sow spring barley.

Its never too late to get a crop but youll lose so much yield its not worth it to drill now. Youre better off waiting till you can drill spring barley – as early as you can get on the land in February.
