Strong support for anti-hunting Bill

A MORI poll will reveal this week that the Governments decision to distance itself from Mike Fosters anti-hunting Bill was a mistake.

Public support for the bill has barely changed, despite the impression given otherwise by the countryside march to Hyde Park, central London, in mid-July.

The anti-hunting lobby today launches a three-month nationwide bus tour ahead of the Bills second reading in the Commons in November.

MORI found 69% of voters either in favour of the Bill or tending towards it.
