Suffolks prove hit
RINGSIDERS competed with phone bidders to produce a top price of 13,000gns at the sale of Suffolk females at Perth last weekend.
The call came for a gimmer from Jimmy Douglas Cairness flock, sired by Cairness Gold Dust and out of a ewe by the famous Pankymoor Prelude.
A gimmer that is full ET sister to the 1999 Royal Highland Show champion made 4000gns for the Mair family and was bought by a Belgian breeder. *
