Tackle robbery alert

FARMERS are asked to be on the alert for over £50,000 of machinery stolen from a field in Ludford in Lincolnshire two weeks ago.

A 7800 John Deere tractor and a Bunnings 105 Lowlander muck spreader were taken during the night on May 14/15 as they were parked on an airfield. The Ford-blue muck spreader, which was out on hire, was owned by David Lyle Hire Services and had the name painted on both sides and under the rear augers. Its serial number was 6.99 2125.

The tractor, owned by Holden Plant of Tealby, was registration M513 CFE and chassis number 009 813. The lift arm linkage was not fitted.
