‘Take a cold shower’ advises Walston

FARMERS on both sides of the Channel need to take a very cold shower before taking any action in the current row over beef, advises controversial farmer Oliver Walston.

He informs readers of The Independentthat he enjoyed his bleu fauxfilet steak and bottle of Beaujolais in France last week

But he now admits some discomfort from the knowledge that his lunch could have been raised on a diet of human sewage.

But Walston has a more serious point to make in observing that the “mob hysteria raging through agricultural circles is in danger of becoming a xenophobic rage”.
