Take care with beet sprays

AVOID damage to vulnerable sugar beet crops this spring by choosing your herbicide formulation with care, urges manufacturer pbi.

Past experience shows solvent-based emulsifiable concentrate formulations can cause significant damage if not applied with care.

Suspension concentrates

The companys new suspension concentrate products Herbasan (phenmedipham) and Kemiron Flowable (ethofumesate) allow first sprays to be applied at early weed emergence with greater confidence.

Field trials show the products provide weed control on a par with EC formulations. The oil and water based suspensions can be tank mixed with a wide variety of contact and residual herbicides.
