THE TENANT Farmers Association‘s CAP Reform Road Show starts rolling on Tuesday (Oct 5), with the first meeting being held in South Molton, Devon.

The series of meetings across the country will offer TFA members and non-members to gain advice on issues surrounding CAP reform from a panel of experts.

“There is so much happening at the moment and with so much to understand and take in, it is important for us to get the advice out to our members.

“These meetings will allow those burning questions to be answered,” said TFA chief executive George Dunn.

“The single farm payment scheme, changes in tenancy law, the 10-month rule, cross-compliance and planning for the long term are just some of the issues that I‘m sure we will be asked about,” Mr Dunn said.

The road show will be covering the whole of the UK and will include meetings in County Durham, Lancashire, Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire, Essex and many more.

“In today‘s constantly changing environment the TFA is keen to hear the questions that are praying on the minds of tenants.

“With the implementation of CAP reform drawing closer, it is vital to ensure that farmers are making the right decisions for their businesses,” said Mr Dunn.
