Three bulls for ranking

THREE new bulls enter the latest top 10 PLI rankings. But daughter numbers for these bulls are currently quite low making it difficult to predict whether they will retain their positions next time around.

Entering the PLI list for the first time and in first place is Cogent Courier with a PLI of £101. He offers 1088kg of milk and 36.4kg protein with 22 daughters in 20 herds contributing to his production proof, according to Cogent.

Another new bull entering the ranking in fourth with a PLI of £96 is Vision-gen Ozzie. But Genuss James Simpson is cautious in praising this bull until he has more daughters in his proof.

Currently attracting more interest is Silverpost Sinatra from Genus, featuring ninth equal in the TOP rankings with an 85% reliability and scoring £90 on PLI, adds Mr Simpson. &#42
