WILTS-BASED Reed UK now distributes a range of Economy vacuum tankers in 6000, 7000 and 8000-litre capacities.
Made by Duport, the slurry tankers have a galvanised tank and chassis and are equipped with a hydraulically braked axle and full road lighting.
A heavy duty, high capacity vacuum pump with safety valve is designed to ensure rapid filling and discharge rates.
To safeguard against excessive vacuum pressures, an extra safety valve is fitted at the top of the tank.
Maximum operating pressure of the tankers is rated at 1bar.
Tank access for cleaning and maintenance is provided by a rear door while a 60mm float valve and internal baffle are designed to alleviate surge.
Fluid level indicators are fitted at the front and rear of the tank, while a hydraulically operated rear valve with 15cm swash plate provides an even spread width, says Reed UK.
Supplied with 550/60 x 22.5 tyres and a 4m x 15cm suction hose, the Economy tankers are priced from £7000. *
