Top Scots dairy farmer says keep it fresh
SCOTLANDS Dairy Farmer of the Year in 1999 has a simple message for the industry – keep it fresh.
Colin Telfer, 43, interviewed by The Scotsman, is against milk going into storage .
He says: “We have to keep promoting milk for what it is – a natural, healthy product”.
Telfer runs a pedigree herd of 90 Holstein Friesian cows on his 315ha (780 acre) tenanted farm in Fife.
