Tory in trouble after Norfolk Show
A TORY councillor and police authority member is in trouble after she tried to get the police to clear a traffic jam when she was leaving an agricultural show.
Brenda Ravencroft of Norfolk County Council called police on her mobile phone after getting stuck in a traffic jam leaving the Royal Norfolk show in June.
Ms Ravencroft said she made the 999 call because she feared that violence could break out among drivers.
The police did not respond but alerted officers on duty at the event.
