Tractor sales rising

TRACTOR registrations for the month of November totalled 593 units – 18.4% higher than those recorded in the same period last year, reports the Agricultural Engineers Association.

It is the third consecutive month when sales have shown a significant increase and brings the year to date figure to 10,679, an increase of 15.2%.

With just one months figures to be announced, the year end total now looks likely to top the 11,000 mark, which compares well with last years all-time low of 9586 units. &#42

Tractor sales rising

TRACTOR sales continue to increase.

Latest figures released by the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) reveal that registrations in April saw a rise of 16.1% compared with the same period last year.

This follows an encouraging leap in March, which recorded a 39% increase in sales, an improvement that was put down at the time to the introduction of the new T registration.

This months figures – 1084 units were registered – brings the year-to-date total to 3138 and pushes the change per cent into the black with a 1.9% increase. &#42
