Police are hunting a gang who used a tractor in an attempt to rip a cash machine from a supermarket wall.

Officers were called to Sainsbury’s in Station Road, Kinross, Scotland, at about 3.30am on Saturday (17 October).

The gang used the tractor to ram the wall, but it would appear their attempts failed and they left empty-handed.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Enquiries are at an early stage however if any members of the public have any information or witnessed any suspicious activity in the Kinross area then please contact Police Scotland on 101 or speak with any police officer.”
