• Delivered feed and milling wheat prices fell between 50p-2.50/t last week, while barley prices remain mostly unchanged.

  • UK feed wheat prices fell largely in line with lower French wheat prices, with the Pounds continued strength providing little comfort.

  • Traders reported that, while trading activity was healthy, a large proportion of trade is focused in the Midlands, with markets further south and west largely ignored.

  • Prices on UK export markets for feed wheat were 75p-2.00/t lower than last week (in line with lower wheat futures). The market responded to a weaker French market, slow export business and a strong Pound. Trade sources reported that most of last weeks busienss was confined to paper trade.
