US commodities ride heatwave
THE heatwave which has enveloped America for several weeks is not going to affect US crop production, according to Dan Glickman, agriculture secretary.
Glickman said commodity prices would not be severely affected as stock was already high and production was at record levels.
Heavy rain had also fallen just before the heatwave began.
