Grader line-up shows

TRACK grading, snow clearing, drain back filling, even levelling trench-like tramlines – all roles claimed for a range of tractor-mounted graders from Lincs-based United Mowers.

The Multi-Set Grader Blade line-up comprises four models with working widths of 2.1m to 2.7m (7ft-9ft). Power requirement for the entry-level model is up to 90hp while the flagship will cope with up to 150hp.

Front or rear

Designed for either front or rear mounting, the graders come in either manually or hydraulically operating formats. Multiple tilt and angle positions enable offset working to the left or right of the tractor, and an adjustable levelling wheel is available for precision work.

United Mowers claims the largest model, coupled to a 150hp tractor, is capable of most work normally restricted to a small bulldozer.

Grader prices start at £2600, with the 2.7m (9ft) wide model priced at £4000.
