Waterproof ways to check temperatures
ELECTRONIC Temperature Instruments claims to have "plugged the hole" in the thermometer market with the introduction of two waterproof digital versions.
The AquaTemp 1 is designed to measure water temperatures from -50 to +200C, while the AquaTemp 5 is suitable for -50 to +300C temperatures.
Powered by a 12V alkaline battery with a 150-hour life expectancy, the water thermometers feature electronic circuitry contained within a one-piece over-moulded case. Both models are supplied with probe cover, battery and instruction card and are priced at £75 and £65, respectively (01903-202151).
