WHEAT futures climbed sharply today, as the Pound pulled back from DM3.
Old-crop wheat futures were up £0.80 by early afternoon to £80.00/ tonne (March); £82.00 (May); and £84.00 (July).
New-crop futures climbed £0.75 to £83.25/ t.
The spot market yesterday also saw substantial gains for East Anglian bread-making wheat, which rose £3.20 to £103.50/ t.
Other price changes were limited to the North-east, which saw bread-making wheat rise £0.75 to £105/ t.
