Wheat success

CONSORTis set to take nearly 25% of the winter wheat area this autumn, according to a study by independent surveyor The Farm Research Unit. Good performance on-farm and consistent results in NIAB work account for its popularity, maintains cereal product manager John Howie of PBI Cambridge.

This harvests 104 treated yield is two points behind Recommended List leaders Napier and Savannah, and a point ahead of Equinox, he says.
