The Scottish-based company will used the centre for distribution in the south of England.

The company already supplies some London supermarkets and transports about 50m litres a year from its Manchester dairy, which was opened four years ago.

Wiseman has just reported profits up to £19.4m from £17.7m for the year to 3 April.
