WREKIN Farmers made a profit of £106,144 after tax for the 17-month period ending May 31 2000, allowing it to pay a 3% dividend to shareholders. Chairman Jim Udale says a wider product range and improved sales in all sectors, including seed grain, feed, fertiliser, crop protection, retailing and warehousing, helped boost performance. In the 12 months to December 1998, the company made a profit of just under £28,000. *
