RIDING for the Disabled is the charity that Alresford YFC, Hants has chosen to support this year and the club has already earned £200 for the cause with their annual muck lug. During a break in muck lugging they took the opportunity to present a giant cheque for £900 to the Wessex Childrens Hospice. This represented their 1995 charity fund raising total.

lKnighton YFC gained most points during Radnor federations achievement day. Rhosgoch was second and Penybont third.

lSuffolk federation is celebrating the YFC movements 75th anniversary with a dinner and dance at the Corn Exchange, Bury St Edmunds, on Fri, Jul 12. Tickets £20. Contact David Hootan (01842-890553).

lProbus YFC, Cornwall, raised £4500 for Macmillan Nurses during the past year with a fashion show, dung sale and cow push. A cheque was presented to the charity during the clubs agm.

lWainfleet & District YFC, Lincs, is trying to contact past members and friends to help celebrate the clubs 50th anniversary, and is also keen to trace old minute books and club memorabilia. Contact Roy Rust (01205-750565).

lHoniton YFC, Devon, is running ATV trials at Middleton Barton Farm, Clayhidon, near Smeatharpe, on Sun, Apr 7 in aid of the Cancer and Leukaemia in Children charity. First race 10.30am. Competitors and visitors welcome.

lRea Valley YFC, Shropshire has raised £2324 for charity and recently presented cheques totalling this amount to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, the Mid Wales Hospice and Macmillan Nurses.

Members of Dunmow YFC, Essex, received £200 from their local council for building a board walk along a footpath and donated it to St Clares Hospice, Hastingwood.
