Yorks pig producer is a double winner

ITS A double triumph for Yorks pig producer J C Lister, who this year collected two PIC/Intervet awards – just one year after winning their award for outstanding achievement in pig production.

This year the firm picks up the long-term performance award for achievement over the last three years, and has also scooped the best indoor herd award for second year running.

The unit at Top Farm, Retford, which has reared 28 pigs a sow a year over the last three years, is part of a total J C Lister herd of 2500 sows split between four units in Yorks and Notts.
