Zoo animals infected with BSE
A LARGE number of zoo animals in Europe have been infected by bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), according to Noelle Bons, a neurobiologist.
Of 26 primates which died at Montpellier Zoo between 1989-1998, five had contracted BSE and a further nine showed signs of the disease, she claims
