Aviagen appoints European distribution president

Breeding company Aviagen has announced that Patrick Claeys has been appointed president of European distribution, replacing Brian Whittle.

Mr Claeys has a long and very successful history with Aviagen, previously working as a distributor before taking the role of general manager of Aviagen EPI in 2003.

Randall Ennis, CEO of Aviagen, said: “Mr Claeys has an excellent knowledge and understanding of the poultry industry throughout Europe and will bring this expertise to the executive management board.”

Mr Claeys is expected to announce a new general manager for the Aviagen EPI operations in the near future, allowing him to focus on his broader European responsibilities.
