Latest in a long line of media-friendly initiatives is the publication of a fictional love story titled “Falling for Clooney”.
“Inspired by the Happy Egg Co’s free-range surroundings, Falling for Clooney follows the love life of Molly and her bid to catch the attention of the infamous – and devilishly handsome – rooster, Clooney,” says the company.
The audio book, from “chick lit” author Catherine Alliott, is being sent to all Happy Egg Co producers, and is also available to download for free from the company website.
“Talking to hens is one of the easiest ways to promote calm and wellbeing,” said marketing director Steve Horton. “Arguably we could just leave a radio on in their house, but this way our girls get a proper hen-tertaining story before bed.”
