Ducks stop traffic

A farmer caused traffic chaos in a Chinese town when he attempted to herd 5,000 ducks to a nearby pond.

Traffic ground to a halt as he and his farm hands drove the horde 1km across the city of Taizhou, Zhejiang, in search of food and pedestrians and vehicles were forced to weave in and out of the feathered friends.

According to the farmer he regularly drives his ducks through the city and despite the large numbers involved he has never lost one!

He must have a very good sheep dog!
