North Wales Fire and Rescue Services said crews from Wrexham, Johnstown and Rhyl were called to the farm in Marford, north Wales, at around 7.30pm on Wednesday 28 May.

One man was taken to hospital with burns to his hands and face, though was later discharged, and a spokesperson for the fire service confirmed that all 24,000 chicks housed in the shed had perished.
She added that a fire investigation had found leaking kerosene from an industrial heater to be the cause of the blaze.
