Gunter’s mad social whirl

September looks like being a busy month in The Forager’s social calendar.

Excitement levels rose first thing Friday morning with the arrival of an invitation to Poultry World reporter Jake Davies’s impending nuptials.

Gunter has yet to meet the lovely Magdalen Rowley-Conwy. But the fact that the wedding invitation was chicken-themed bodes well.

Moments later the next invite arrived – this time for the British Turkey Awards annual bash at The Dorchester on London’s Park Lane. And what’s more, it has a pirate theme!

Following his recent jaunt around the Inner Hebrides, Gunter is looking forward to an evening of swashbuckling fun.  “Ahoy there” indeed.
