Cameras viewing broilers in a shed may soon be able to indicate whether a flock will test positive for campylobacter as early as 10 days into its cycle. Research by scientists from Oxford University has uncovered a link between the amount birds move and their propensity to develop health concerns and, crucially, the likelihood of developing campylobacter.
