McDonald’s celebrates 25 years of chicken McNuggets

McDonald’s is celebrating 25 years of chicken McNuggets and is launching a new website to promote the food item.

In 1983 chicken McNuggets were added to US menus and are now sold in more than 100 countries. The website www.nuggnuts.com will mark the history of the popular menu choice.

It has been reported that McDonald’s has sold 238m six-piece nuggets and 268m 10-piece nuggets in the past 12 months.
