Moy Park signs deal to sponsor Irish Open

Northern Ireland based poultry processor Moy Park, announced at Balmoral Show this week that it has secured a two year sponsorship with the European Tour to support one of Ireland’s most prestigious sporting events – the 2012/13 Irish Open.


This year’s tournament is being staged at Royal Portrush for the first time since 1947 and kicks-off next month on 28 June until 1 July. The 2013 Irish Open will be taking place at Carton House, Kildare.


“We are one of the largest companies in Northern Ireland, so we felt it was important to lend our support to such a prestigious event.


The Irish Open will attract thousands of visitors to Northern Ireland and will provide an opportunity for us to showcase not only our world-class hospitality but also our fantastic local produce,” said Nigel Dunlop, CEO of Moy Park.
