New member of Elanco poultry team
Elanco Animal Health has announced the appointment of Phil Wright into its poultry team as key account manager.
Mr Wright studied agriculture with land and farm management at Harper Adams, graduating in 1996.
He has been assistant farm manager on an arable, beef and sheep unit in Northamptonshire, and spent two years as a farm business consultant for Bidwells Chartered Surveyors.
In animal health, Mr Wright has worked for both Janssen and Elanco in companion animal teams before his move to poultry.
“Phil’s passion for agriculture and his extensive background within the sector make him an exciting new addition to an already strong team currently consisting of Jerry Glover, Luis Canseco, Graham Rigg, Matt Evans and Thomas Tiley,” an Elanco spokesman said.
“The appointment is a clear indication of Elanco Animal Health’s commitment to progression and expansion within the poultry sector.”
Elanco is behind Hemicell, designed to reduce the negative influence of Feed Induced Immune Response in broiler production.
Mr Wright said: “I am really looking forward to adding value to Elanco’s customers, discussing Elanco’s impressive poultry portfolio with producers, and working with innovative products that have a great impact on the industry.”
