Poultry farmers in the tiny village of Loué, in north-west France, were left aghast by an amateur pornography film that was shot illicitly in their midst.

The region is home to a farming co-operative behind posh chicken brand Loué, which is now threatening the production company behind the film with legal action, for defamation and bringing its product into disrepute.

According to a report in The Telegraph, a naked “farmer’s daughter” posing as a chicken breeder was caught, along with a camera crew, and chased out of the village by angry locals. But it was too late – the film was completed and posted online.

Yves de La Fouchardière, director of the Fermiers de Loué co-operative, told French newspaper Les Nouvelles: “This pseudo-chicken breeder is nothing of the sort. You’d have to be naive to believe that, she’s an actress.

“I don’t want to stir people’s curiosity and encourage youngsters to go see the video on the site. I don’t want to help build their audience. This site is soliciting prostitution.”

The film has been viewed about 2.2m times to date.

Dominique Croyeau, mayor of Loué, reportedly said shooting pornographic scenes in broad daylight was bad for the image of the village and the poultry farmers, and was considering legal action.
