Scottish eggs

This week’s instalment of our series of interesting store based egg pictures comes from the north of the border, specifically the local Tesco in Fraserburgh.

I’m pretty sure all the eggs featured in the pictures and all in the store come from Glenrath in Peebles, much further south in the borders.

It must be a little frustrating for local producers Robert Chapman of Farmlay Eggs whose farm is only 10 miles from the Tesco. Local sourcing indeed.
