Registration has opened for a free webinar that will explore management tactics to maximise modern broiler breeders’ genetic potential.
On 21 April at 11am, a panel of experts will offer their thoughts on getting the best hatching eggs and helping chicks off to the best possible start.
The discussion is to be broadcast over the web, and will be free to view.
It is hosted by World Poultry, part of the publishing group that produces Farmers Weekly and Poultry World.
First to speak is Jan van den Brink, of Jansen Poultry Equipment. He will outline the importance of hygiene, and its key role in hatchable eggs and healthy day-old chicks.
Veterinarian Richard Sygall, from specialist chemical company Perstorp, will offer his views on optimising gut health in breeders – and its impact upon the performance of their offspring.
