Customers at the Moorland Farm Shop near Okehampton in Devon enjoyed a special breakfast last week, as part of national Farmhouse Breakfast Week. Locally-produced food was on the menu at this event, organised by food group Taste of the West. It gave producers the chance to serve their fare and talk to customers at the well-known venue.

“When people think of South West food, they may consider meat and cheese – but many just aren”t aware of locally-produced breakfast cereals, preserves and fruit juices which are readily available,” says shop director Vicky Sargent (pictured here with mum, Sharon).
