Dr Sarah Cook is a research scientist for ADAS and an arable weed specialist. Graduating with a BSc honours in Agricultural Science, Sarah continued at the University of Nottingham to do a PHD in Agronomy.

Sarah's most recent research includes a 40-month study on dormancy of blackgrass, Italian rye grass and bromes.

She has also co-written the AHDB Oilseed Rape Guide and Managing weeds in an arable rotation. A cited specialist in her field Sarah has written for various farming publications, including Farmers Weekly.)

Lynn Tatnell

Lynn Tatnell has over 20 years’ experience of weed management as a research scientist at ADAS Boxworth.

Lynn has a wide range of weed related interests and expertise spanning herbicide resistance through to non-chemical weed control in arable and horticultural crops.

More recently she has led a four-year collaborative research project minimising broad-leaved weed resistance and is currently managing a collaborative project aiming to prevent glyphosate resistance in the UK.)
