£6000-worth of Nitram to be won

GrowHow UK is offering one of its customers a chance to win a lorry load of ammonium nitrate, worth up to £6000, as the company’s celebrates 45 years of Nitram production.

To qualify, farmers in mainland Great Britain must take delivery of at least 10.2t of GrowHow fertiliser products between 1 October 2009 and 31 March 2010.

The winner, announced early in April 2010, will receive 45 bags (27t) of Nitram, delivered in 600kg bags.

“Nitram and its blue bag are an established part of the British farming scene – both arable and grassland,” said Ken Bowler, marketing manager of GrowHow UK.

“As part of celebrating our history, we felt it appropriate that we give farmers buying our products this season a chance to join in the celebrations.”

Full details of the competition can be obtained from the fertiliser section of the GrowHow UK website – www.growhow.co.uk
