Consultation to improve Crop Monitor service

The Central Science Laboratory, HGCA and Bayer CropScience are to consult growers and agronomists to identify ways the cereal disease monitoring service, Crop Monitor, can be made more valuable, Bayer’s Alison Daniels says.

“Crop Monitor is the only free, independent and widespread cereal disease update service for agronomists and farmers, and many find it an invaluable tool. However, we believe the service can be of wider benefit to the industry so we will be looking at ways at how this can be achieved.”

Full details of the consultation will be released shortly, Bayer says.
