Cereals exhibitor 2009
Openfield is using its first appearance at the Cereals Event to anounce a range of contract offerings.
These include specialist wheat contracts for niche wheat varieties Zircon and Magister, as well as an extended contract for milling favourite Hereward.
In the winter barley sector, the business, the largest farmer-owned business in the UK arable sector, will be introducing Wintmalt, which is undergoing commercial analysis with brewer Coors.
Cereal plots on the company’s stand feature a range of new wheats, including specialist added-value soft wheats, Viscount and Scout, and the early-drilling, early-maturing feed variety Grafton.
There’s also advice on early season fertiliser price packages and storage options through the company’s marketing agreements with NetworkGrain UK members.
