Alistair Pinkerton at Blackbirds Farm in Watford, Herts was happy how things were going at the moment after finishing his oats. He said it was all a clean sample and yielded 4.63t/ha at between 11.5 and 14% moisture.

Recital oilseed rape all yielded 3.75t/ha over the weighbridge, despite pigeon damage on one of the fields. He was pleased the crop all came in dry.

Mr Pinkerton added he was pleased with harvest so far but was concerned the weather may change.
