Winter barley finished in Angus

With good harvesting weather in Angus, Scotland, Robert Ramsey had finished 80ha of winter barley.

Sequel yielded 7.5t/ha on the worst field, to up to 10t/ha on the better field, which he was pleased with. There was a quick start to harvest this year and so far it is going better than last year. He was also pleased with the good bushel weight of 67kg/hl.

He added this was the first time he had been able to put some of the crop straight into the barn without needing to use the dryer.
