Arla Milk Link producers will get a 1.7p/litre price increase from 27 May, taking their standard litre price to 31.91p/litre.
The increase will be paid to Arla Milk Link’s 1,600 members under parent company Arla Foods amba’s pricing mechanism which applies across its 12,400 co-operative members in the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium.
“The strength of the returns from all of our markets, globally, have facilitated this increase, in line with our cooperative principles,” said Arla Foods amba board director Johnnie Russell.
* About 220 farmers in The Co-operative Dairy Group (CDG) and supplying The Co-operative Food will see a 0.3p/litre price increase to 32.15p/litre from 1 June.
