Appeal for witnesses after tractor and van collide

A tractor driver has escaped relatively unharmed after a crash that left his vehicle flipped on its side.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) posted a photo of the aftermath of the crash on its Craigavon Facebook page.

The blue and white tractor slid on its side when it was in a collision with a white Citroën van.

The accident happened on the A1 between Drumsallagh Road and Greenan Road, in Banbridge, County Down, at about 11:15am on Saturday (4 May). There were no serious injuries.

“If you were on the A1 at that time, witnessed the collision, saw either vehicle prior to the collision or have dash cam footage of it, please get in touch with police,” said a PSNI statement.

The incident number is 483 of 04/05/19.
