Police said the cyclist was riding towards Woore and as he approached Bearstone Fruit Farm, a tractor pulled out in front of him.

Further down the A51 at Ireland’s Cross just before Woore, the tractor pulled in and the cyclist overtook him.

The tractor then collided with the cyclist, causing him flip into the air.

But the tractor driver failed to stop at the scene of the collision.
