Cheese tickles judges’ tastebuds

The flagship extra mature cheddar, Tickler, from Milk Link‘s The Cheese Company, has scooped another prestigious industry award.

The cheese was awarded first place in the dairy and milk products category of the 2008 Excellence in Food and Drink Awards run by Caterer and Hotelkeeper magazine. Judges praised the cheese for its flavour, texture, packaging and distinctive name.

The Tickler brand was also named Supreme Champion at the Royal Welsh show in July.
